GKinetic are very excited to announce that they have been accepted by The Water Council as one of ten start-up companies from 5 countries who have been selected as part of the 2024 cohort of BREW 2.0 Post-Accelerator.

The Business, Research and Entrepreneurship in Water (BREW) Accelerator 2.0 is a next stage post accelerator created to help companies build connections and grow their capacity. It is a virtual and in-person hybrid program which focuses on expert led sales and growth training tailored for water tech business.

Selected from nearly 50 applications spanning 13 countries, GKinetic are honored to be given this opportunity. Karen Frost, The Water Council vice president of Economic Development & Innovation said “We’re excited to help these companies build connections and increase capacity so they can reach the next stage in their growth” and Beverley Ferrara European Representative of The Water Council pictured above,  added her congratulations to GKinetic on a recent post saying “I know you’ll make waves in BREW”

The program runs through April and May online with an in person week-long event in Milwaukee, USA which will culminate in the opportunity to pitch before the Water Council and other main players of the water industry. This is an amazing opportunity as GKinetic views the US as a highly attractive marketplace for a number of reasons, including favorable grants and funding for the water sector, exemptions for hydrokinetic projects and extensive availability of data and resources to name a few. The company is also receiving a high number of project enquiries and interest from the US market which BREW 2.O will support the development of.
